Summer Reading

Parents should have received a letter regarding summer reading expectations. Please see below if you did not. Students can also find this assignment in Google Classroom.  Summer Reading 2015 Dear Parents & Guardians, Thank you for your dedication to your child’s education over the past school year.  It has been a pleasure to be part of their learning, and we look forward to an awesome 8th grade year! We would like to share our suggestions for summer reading.  It is important for adolescents to maintain a light routine of reading, as numerous studies have shown that reading over the summer prevents “summer reading loss.” Reading a handful of books over the summer can have a significant impact on the success of middle school students. Students will be asked to read 3+ books at their reading level.
